During the autumn holiday, from 10 to 18 October 2026, Muiderslot Castle offers creative activities every day from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They are free with a valid admission ticket and no reservation is required.
In the Kasteelatelier (castle studio), visitors can try crafts and creative projects inspired by the castle and its history. A photobox lets you compose your own still life. Use your phone to take photos and share them on @muiderslot. You can also color your own masterpiece for an empty frame, such as a bold self-portrait, a dreamy landscape, a funny monster, or your family. Take your artwork home.
A museum educator leads a workshop with colored paper. You can cut, tear, and glue a collage self-portrait that suits you.
