Swimming pools for kids in the Netherlands

Swimming is not optional here: Dutch children take zwemles from about five and work towards the A, B and C diplomas, and most municipal pools run lessons with a waiting list. This category is new and honest about it — two places are listed so far, the beach pool 't Skarpet in Oude Niedorp and a sports venue in Amsterdam. Municipal zwembaden in towns across the country are the obvious additions and are next on the list.
