Theater Terra presents Pippi and the Pirates at the Meervaart in Amsterdam on 14 October 2026. The show starts at 15:00 and ends at 16:15. It is a cheerful and imaginative family performance full of music, humour and adventure, based on Astrid Lindgren’s beloved stories, for everyone from 6 years old.
When Pippi receives a message in a bottle from her father, Captain Efraïm Langkous, she learns he has been captured by the notorious pirates Bloed Barend and Messen Jochem. Pippi, Tommy and Annika set off on a big adventure to the mysterious island Taka Tuka. Along the way they build the strangest vehicles, face wild animals and take on dangerous pirates. With her famous strength, clever tricks and a good dose of humour, Pippi gets out of every situation.
