Alice falls through a rabbit hole into Wonderland, a strange and confusing world where nothing is as it seems. One moment she is tiny, the next enormous. She meets a panicky rabbit, a mysterious cat without a head and a stubborn Hatter who pulls her further into the bizarre adventure.
As Alice goes deeper into Wonderland, she starts to doubt herself. Who is she really, and do you always have to know everything for certain? De Toneelmakerij and DOX take you into a dream world full of dance, music, humor and spectacular images. It is a contemporary coming-of-age production about growing up, discovering yourself and daring to get lost in the unknown. It is at Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam.
