Buurtgebouw Henrick de Keijser (HdK) is a volunteer-run neighbourhood building on the Henrick de Keijserplein in De Pijp, open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 15:00 to 18:00 outside the school holidays.
Buurtgebouw Henrick de Keijser, better known as the HdK, sits on the Henrick de Keijserplein in the Tellegenbuurt, in the lively De Pijp district of Amsterdam Zuid.
Carried by volunteers, the HdK focuses on the neighbourhood when it organises or hosts social activities. It describes itself as an accessible meeting place for the neighbourhood, working on the themes of safety, older people, young people, health, income security and inclusivity.
It is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 15:00 to 18:00, outside the holidays — come by for a cup of coffee, a drink, a toasted sandwich or a chat. The building can be booked for a gathering or an event through the contact or reservation form on its site.
