A sci-fi theatre show at Theater De Krakeling in Amsterdam, on 26 November 2026 at 19:00. The story puts you in a secondary school where time can be stopped and rewound. A school party is in full swing when chaos breaks out: a fight, a scream and a knife. Who was stabbed, and who did it?
The audience sits on stands opposite each other, with the scene of the crime between them, and sees flashbacks of the pupils and teachers who were at the party. The question is whether the culprit can be traced.
The show is about peer pressure and its serious consequences. Director Noël Fischer says Time Machine is about growing violence among young people, who sometimes feel forced to defend themselves but underestimate the consequences. Writer Casper Vandeputte says the characters have big longings and big secrets.
Good to know: For ages 14 and up.
