On 22 November 2026 at 2pm, Theater De Krakeling in Amsterdam presents The Wind and Us. It is a theatre show for children from age 3. The show is based on the picture book by Kristof Devos and Claudia Jong. Tg. Winterberg brings the book to life with few words and a lot of imagination.
The wind brings a girl and a big, hairy creature together. They play, discover, learn, and protect each other. They become inseparable. One day they are done playing, and it is time to leave with the wind again.
The show asks: What does the wind look like? Where does it go when it does not whistle past your ears? Can you become friends with something you cannot catch? You hear the wind, feel the movement, and discover a friendship that comes and goes.
Good to know: Accessible theatre with sign language interpreter, blind interpreter, or low-stimulus reception.
