Plein Theater in Amsterdam has a kids’ show on 30 December 2026 at 15:00. The Story of Little Princess Reutemeteut and the Irrepressible Wirwar is described on the Dutch event page as a cheeky performance with funny and recognizable songs about mess. The story takes place in the Palace of Spic and Span, the cleanest palace you have ever seen. All 348 rooms are spotless, except one bedroom that is less tidy, the repulsive stinkhole of Little Princess Reutemeteut. The big question is how you deal with the mess in your head, the mess around you and the mess of your child.
The event page credits the text to Bas van de Ven, Cristel van Kuik and Suus Hoppenbrouwers. Bas van de Ven directs. Suus Hoppenbrouwers performs, and Cristel van Kuik works on scenography. Bas van de Ven and Lennert Klaui are listed as composers. A Theaterkrant quote by Pluk Eva van der Weerd praises Suus Hoppenbrouwers for sharp comic timing and for holding the attention of adults and young visitors, even during a sock fight with the audience.
This goes to the AmsterdamKids team with the page address. We read every one.
