Eye Filmmuseum screens Het kind van de Gruffalo in the Cinemini room for the youngest children. It is the sequel to De Gruffalo, and a Groot Gevaarlijk Dier again has the lead role. The film runs 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of play.
In the story the child leaves the warm burrow and goes into the forest looking for the Grote Gevaarlijke Muis. Father has described the monster: fiery eyes, a long scaly tail and a whisker as hard as iron wire.
Children aged 2 to 6 have their first cinema visit in what Eye describes as its most beautiful and intimate film room. The room opens every Sunday morning for toddlers, preschoolers and their parents or grandparents, with film and play in a light landscape.
Good to know: If you want a drink or something to eat afterwards, reserve online for Eye Bar Restaurant.
