Eye Filmmuseum opens its Cinemini room for toddlers, preschoolers and their parents. Three short films about all sorts of different animals, with a big wolf and a little wolf in the leading roles. Thirty minutes of film, then thirty minutes of play.
Children aged 2 to 6 have their first cinema visit here, in what Eye calls its most beautiful and intimate cinema room. After the films they play with light and shadow in small tents and on a big light table, led by the Taartrovers.
The programme includes Some Logic (Rop van Mierlo, NL 2014, 1′), an animation made from the paintings in Rop van Mierlo’s book Some Logic, with music by Young Marco. The wolf film follows Grote Wolf, who lives happily on his own under a beautiful tree until a little wolf moves in. The little wolf eats his food, throws his things around and snores. When the little wolf leaves again, Grote Wolf realises how much he misses him. The Dutch voices are by Louis van Beek, Enzo Coenen, Daan van Rijssel and Hymke de Vries.
Good to know: For children aged 2 to 6; reserve online for Eye Bar Restaurant if you want to eat or drink afterwards.
