Eye opens its Cinemini room for toddlers, preschoolers and their parents. Children aged 2 to 6 have their first cinema visit in the most intimate film room at Eye. Three short films about all sorts of animals are shown, with a big wolf and a small wolf in the leading roles. The film lasts 30 minutes and is followed by 30 minutes of play.
After the films, children play with light and shadow in small tents and on a big light table, led by the Taartrovers. The room opens every Sunday morning for toddlers, preschoolers and their grandparents or parents.
The programme includes Some Logic by Rop van Mierlo (NL, 2014, 1 minute), an animation made from paintings in his book of the same name, with music by Young Marco. In it a hummingbird drinks water from a smoking volcano, a ladybird flies through the air with a jellyfish in its paws and a snail climbs a towering mountain. In the story of the two wolves, Big Wolf lives happily alone under a beautiful tree until a small wolf moves in with him. The little wolf eats his food, throws his things around and snores. When the small wolf leaves, Big Wolf realises how much he misses his little companion. The Dutch voices are by Louis van Beek, Enzo Coenen, Daan van Rijssel and Hymke de Vries.
