Claudia Carter is an Autism Educator, Family Counsellor, and the Founder of Ludica Workshops.
She brings extensive experience as a mediator and educator using positive methods, and designs personalised programmes to help kids thrive emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Her approach is built on working closely with families, using interactive methods to create nurturing environments for their children’s development.
Originally from Chile, Claudia moved to Europe 15 years ago. After completing her studies in Paris, she became Family Coordinator at a Community Center, which pushed her to specialise further in mediation and Positive Communication training.
Through those experiences, her commitment to supporting adult-child relationships deepened, and from 2017 she began guiding children’s growth while supporting their parents alongside them. In 2019, she narrowed her focus to one-on-one work with children with autism, aged 3 to 12.
Claudia’s approach centres on children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development, with play and art at the core of it. She develops her own tailored educational materials, drawing inspiration from the children she works with and folding her love of art directly into the sessions.
Drawing on those years of experience, Claudia established Ludica Workshops, a space for connecting, creating, and playing with neurotypical and neurodivergent children and their parents together. Ludica, the anagram of her own name, reflects the playful spirit she brings to the work.

What is neurotypical and neurodivergent?
Neurotypical children have typical neurological development. Neurodivergent children have atypical neurological development, which can include autism, ADHD, or other neurological differences.

Connecting 2 Children Course
A 4-6 module course giving parents and caregivers practical tools for the emotional, social, and cognitive development of both neurotypical and neurodivergent children.
NeuroKids Parents Support Group
For parents of neurodivergent children, offering a space to connect, share experiences, and gain insight from others in the same position. Through the group, parents build a supportive peer network, get guidance from professionals, and become part of a community built around shared understanding.

Family Counselling
A safe space for parents and children to share thoughts and emotions, work through conflicts, and build more effective communication as a family.
Autism Intervention Programme
A home programme for children aged 2 to 8, tailored to the individual child’s needs, focused on social skills, communication, behaviour, and cognitive and motor development.
Play’Art
A neurodivergent-friendly playground session for parents and their children together, built around connection, creativity, and building social skills, coordination, problem-solving, and confidence through play.
Claudia understands the impact adults have on a child’s life and advocates for positive guidance, love, respect, emotional support, and self-care, for the child and the parent both.
Why This Kind of Work Matters
A lot of parenting support out there talks about the child in isolation, as if the parent is just a logistics problem to solve around them. What Claudia’s approach does differently is treat the relationship itself as the thing worth building, not just teaching a child a skill, but helping the parent understand how to keep showing up for that child day to day, in whatever way that particular child needs.
For families raising a neurodivergent child, that distinction matters. A lot of generic parenting advice doesn’t translate once you’re dealing with a child whose needs don’t fit the standard playbook, and finding someone who works with both the child and the parent, rather than one or the other, isn’t easy to come by. Ludica’s mix of one-on-one intervention, group support, and family counselling covers a fair amount of that ground in one place, rather than sending you to three different specialists for three different pieces of the same picture.

Is the Autism Intervention Programme only for children with a formal diagnosis?
It’s designed around children aged 2 to 8 with autism specifically, so it helps to have a diagnosis or be far enough into the assessment process to know that’s the right fit. If you’re unsure, the free appointment is the right place to ask.
Can neurotypical and neurodivergent siblings join Play’Art together?
Yes, the sessions are built to include both neurotypical and neurodivergent children in the same space, alongside their parents, rather than running separate tracks.
