About
Drs Francesca Eleuteri runs Functioning Psychology from De Cuserstraat in Amsterdam Zuid, with a second Amsterdam room near the Vondelpark. She is a registered GZ-psycholoog and SKJ psychologist working in Dutch youth care, and sees children and teenagers up to 18 for anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, depression and eating difficulties, alongside neuropsychological assessments. Parents are taught coping strategies too, and children can have CBT with or without a parent present. Sessions are in English, Dutch or Italian, in person or online.

Frequently asked
Do we have to pay if our child is treated here?
The practice holds a youth care contract with the municipalities of Amstelveen, Weesp, Diemen, Uithoorn and Ouder-Amstel, so treatment and assessment for under-18s is covered for families living there, provided you have a referral. Families outside those municipalities, or without a referral, pay 130 euro per hour.
Do I need a referral from the huisarts?
For covered youth care, yes: a referral from a GP, youth doctor, Ouder-Kind Team or youth protection is required. If you are paying privately, no referral is needed.
Up to what age do you treat children, and in which language?
Children and teenagers up to 18 are seen. Francesca works in English, Dutch and Italian, and offers both in-person appointments in Amsterdam and online sessions.
