My mother is a HUMAN. Me too – Eigen Werk Theaterteam

Eigen Werk Theaterteam brings “Mijn moeder is een MENS”, a show based on the childhood of actress Sabrina NaberMacnack. From a young age she and her sister looked after their ill mother. The outside world calls this informal care, but for her it was the most ordinary thing in the world.

She loves her mother and helps her where she can when her mother is tired. Informal care is a far too distant word for the young and cheerful Sabrina.

It is a light, musical story about a serious subject, told from the perspective of a sunny child who seems to combine responsibility and love without effort. The performance takes place in the Blauwe Zaal at Meervaart on 16 October 2026.
