A large wall tapestry is being made at the Zaans Museum. This autumn holiday you can help work on it, and you can help for free on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The tapestry shows how the Zaanstreek is connected with the rest of the world.
Would you rather make something for yourself? You can embroider your own pencil case (8+) or keyring (5+). Come and embroider on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Choose your favourite colours, practise embroidery stitches and decorate your own pencil case or keyring. People all over the world decorate their clothing with embroidery stitches.
