At the Zaans Museum you can help make a large wall tapestry during the autumn holiday. The tapestry shows how the Zaanstreek is connected to the rest of the world. You can help for free on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
If you would rather make something for yourself, embroider your own pencil case (8+) or keyring (5+). People around the world decorate their clothing with embroidery stitches. You choose your favourite colours, practise the stitches and decorate your own pencil case or keyring. Embroidery sessions are on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Good to know: Special discount tickets from 10 to 25 October: family ticket (max. 2 adults and 2 children) €26 instead of €46; child ticket €4.50 instead of €9.
