The afternoon starts at 13:30 with a short autumn game so the children can get to know each other. At 14:00 the creative workshop begins. Children choose a crafting item from a range of materials, such as a pencil case, a bag, or mosaic shapes. Because some items are limited, a Wheel of Fortune decides who gets to work with their chosen item.
Around 14:45 there is a short break with a healthy snack and an autumn treat. Then everyone returns to the craft table to finish their autumn artworks. If anyone finishes early, there is room for a game or a small extra craft. When the artworks are done, the group looks at each other’s creations and talks briefly about the afternoon. At 16:30 parents pick up their children, who take home their own autumn artwork.
