Concertgebouworkest Children’s Concert: Tarantula and the Dance of the Animals (6+)

Musicians of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra perform a children’s concert in the Small Hall. The story follows Tarantula, a lonely spider who cannot spin a web and dreams of a web palace full of friends. Together with actress Charlene Sancho, the musicians make animals dance to music by Saint-Saëns, including pieces from Carnival of the Animals and the Danse macabre.

The concert is a collaboration with Oorkaan and is directed by Caecilia Thunnissen. It lasts one hour and has no interval. It is suitable for ages 6 and up.
