Milou van Ham photographs pregnancies, newborns and young families in a light, fine-art style, with the focus on connection rather than posing. Newborn shoots can be done at your home in Amsterdam or in a daylight photo studio in the city, ideally two to three weeks after birth. Maternity shoots usually happen between 28 and 34 weeks. You get a styling guide, access to her client wardrobe of dresses, and the option to add hair and make-up. Dutch and English.

Services & prices
Includes a digital styling guide, use of the client wardrobe, personal outfit help, the shoot itself, an online selection gallery and retouching. Photo packages start at EUR 295.
Newborn session in the studio in Vessem or at your home, best planned around two to three weeks after birth.
Maternity shoot outdoors or in the studio, usually between the 28th and 34th week of pregnancy, with access to the client wardrobe.
Maternity boudoir session starting with dresses and, if you feel comfortable, elegant images in lingerie and kimono.
Spontaneous family portraits on a location in the dunes or in nature, with children's portraits and photos of the whole family together.
Session focused on the bond between mother and child, outdoors or as lifestyle images in the studio, for babies through older children.
Choose 2, 3 or 4 sessions across pregnancy and the baby's first year (maternity, newborn, six months and the one-year milestone).

When is the best time for a newborn shoot?
Usually around two to three weeks after birth, though it can be scheduled later. Many parents book during pregnancy so there is time for the preparations.
What do we wear?
You have access to her client wardrobe of dresses, and you receive a styling guide with outfit tips for everyone. Hair and make-up with her stylist can be booked as an extra.
