Language Leap Speech Therapy
English speech and language therapy for children
About
Molly Katz is an English-speaking paediatric speech and language therapist who moved to Amsterdam from New York in 2024. She works with children from infancy through adolescence on late talking, unclear speech, developmental language disorders, apraxia, stuttering and AAC, including support for gestalt language processors, and she takes a neurodivergent-affirming, child-led approach. Sessions happen at your home, at your child’s school or nursery, or online, and she also coaches parents. The first phone consultation costs nothing.

Insurance & costs
No contracts with Dutch health insurers; clients pay directly and may claim from international insurance afterwards.
Frequently asked
Does our Dutch insurance cover this?
No. She has no contracts with Dutch insurers, so families pay her directly and claim back themselves if they can. International policies may reimburse, and a GP referral helps if you plan to claim.
Do we need a referral before we can start?
Not to begin therapy. A referral is only recommended if you intend to submit the costs to an insurer.
Where would the sessions take place?
At your home, at your child's school or childcare centre, or online where that suits. Sessions usually run 30 or 45 minutes, one to three times a week depending on the child.
