Helene Mullers has run this child therapy practice at Casa Tutti Frutti in Amstelveen since 2007, adding therapy for teenagers and young adults in 2019. Integrative child therapy is short and playful, aimed at children roughly four to fourteen, covering emotions, stress, behaviour changes, social skills and confidence, with gifted children a particular specialism. She also does parent coaching and will join school meetings. Sessions are in Dutch or English, and there is a dedicated page for expat kids settling into a new country.

Play-based integrative therapy for children aged 4 to 14; most children reach results in 8 to 15 sessions. Fee valid from 1 January 2025.

Insurance & costs
Partial reimbursement is possible depending on your supplementary cover (VIT member); youth care can be funded by six municipalities with a GP referral.

What age is this suitable for?
Integrative child therapy is aimed at children from about four to fourteen years old. Teenagers and young adults are seen separately, and there is parent coaching if you would rather work on things yourself.
What does a session cost and can we get it reimbursed?
A session or intake of 45 minutes is 120 euro. Part of the cost may come back through your health insurer because she is a VIT member, and for under-18s living in Amstelveen, Aalsmeer, Ouder-Amstel, Uithoorn, Zaanstreek or Waterland it can be funded by the municipality with a GP referral.
Can sessions be in English for an expat child?
Yes. The site runs fully in English alongside Dutch and there is a dedicated expat kids page, so English-speaking children are welcome. Sessions take place at the practice on Bouwmeester in Amstelveen.
