What does divorce mediation cost?
They publish a modular price list: €75 for the introductory meeting, €500 per mediation session including the written report, €500 to draw up the parenting plan, €750 for the settlement agreement and €250 for the court procedure, all excluding 21% VAT. An hourly rate of €250 excluding VAT is also possible, and subsidised legal aid applies if you qualify.
What happens to arrangements about the children?
The agreements you reach are written up as a parenting plan and divorce settlement agreement, and the mediator then handles the written procedure with the court.
What if the arrangements don't work out in practice?
They offer a free short session about six months after the mediation to go through all the agreements again and adjust them together if needed.
