A theatre show at Theater De Krakeling on Nieuwe Passeerdersstraat 1 in Amsterdam, based on Pim Lammers’ picture books. It is about a little lamb that loves rolling in the mud and turns out to be a piglet. Open to children from age 4. Pim Lammers’ stories take an original, funny look at how we treat each other, and are about being yourself and how important friendship is.
The performance is filled with live songs, with two musical players accompanying themselves on instruments including a ukulele and a singing saw. It comes from Het Filiaal theatermakers, who make theatre using live music, movement, video, puppets, objects and language, with as much in it for adults as for children. The company has won several national and international awards, among them the Gouden Krekel in 2023 and a Zilveren Krekel in 2025.
The performance on 1 November, starting at 14:30, is accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors, with support from a Dutch Sign Language interpreter.
Good to know: For the 1 November show, book the ‘met gebarentolk’ ticket type in the price list if you want the Dutch Sign Language interpreter.
